Canberra Airport Silver Service (Exclusive) Parking Bays (Ground Floor Multi-Storey Car Par)
A new parking levy of $11 incl. GST will apply from January 31, 2011 for all customer pickups from the exclusive parking bays at Canberra Airport. These parking bays are marked with Canberra Silver Service and Canberra Hire Car logos and are situated on the ground floor of the new multi-storey car park.
At the time of prebooking a Silver Service Airport Pickup the Agent will ask for prepayment of the parking charge ($11 incl. GST), by credit card or account. The prepayment made for parking will be refunded if the booking is cancelled more than 1 hour before the pickup time. If the job is cancelled within 1 hour of the pickup time then the parking prepayment will not be refunded.
The Agent will also ask customers if they have to collect luggage before looking for the Silver Service car. We ask customers to adjust their pickup time to account for the time taken to collect luggage after arrivals. This information will be provided to the Parking Marshal.
An Aerial Parking Marshal will be on duty during peak periods, Monday to Friday, to assist drivers to enter and leave the exclusive parking bays. The Uniform, which includes a black hat, will identify the Parking Marshal. Passengers looking for Silver Service cars can approach the Parking Marshal for help � he will have a record of all prebooked Silver Service jobs.
